NEW: Tudor Pelagos 39

Tudor’s popular Pelagos has not been seen as a particularly large watch, but clearly there have been enough requests for a smaller version that Tudor has launched a new variant in a 39mm satin-brushed titanium case with a black ceramic sunray satin-finished bezel insert.

Apart from the new case size, the watch features a sunray satin-finished black dial with luminescent ceramic composite monobloc applied hour markers, ‘Snowflake’ hands, and a uni-directional rotating bezel with a satin-finished ceramic insert.

The applied hour markers are made of monobloc luminescent ceramic composite. The dial is made up of two main elements, a sunray satin finish flat disc whose subtle shine contrasts with the matt finish of the 45° conical bead-blasted flange. The Pelagos name is red, at 6 o’clock.

Powering the new Pelagos 39 is the automatic COSC-certified Calibre MT5400. power reserve of 70 hours.

It comes on a satin-brushed titanium bracelet with the Tudor “T-fit” clasp for length adjustment which will give you another 8mm. There is a second strap that comes with the watch – black rubber. This strap has a rubber extension piece as well.

The new Tudor Pelagos 39 becomes part of the permanent collection, with an Australian RRP of $6,010.
