There’s a new Royal Oak Offshore (ROO) and it’s for those do do not need (nor desire) a chronograph, but still want a date function – the ROO 43 Ref. 15605SK comes in a 43mm stainless steel case with a with a blue rubber-coated bezel. With redesigned crown guards, it is 14.4mm thick and has a water resistance of 100m.
The ‘smokey blue’ dial has the Méga Tapisserie pattern, a blue outer minute track, rhodium-toned gold applied trapezoidal hour-markers, and lumed hands. The AP branding is also polished rhodium-toned gold.
Visible through the transparent sapphire crystal, the automatic Calibre 4302 beats at 28,800 VPH, has a blackened 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight, and a power reserve of 70 hours. Finishing-wise, it features Cotes de Genève, vertical, circular and sun-ray brushing, and circular graining/
The new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding 43mm comes on an interchangeable blue rubber strap with a stainless steel AP pin buckle, but you also get a second black rubber strap that you can swap it with using the studs on the back of the case. The RRP is CHF 23,800.
