Yes, you guessed it – green again, but this time in a women’s piece, with Breguet’s new Reine de Naples 8918, which combines a white gold case with a soft light green.

This latest addition to the popular queen comes in an 18k white gold case measuring 36.5mm x 28.45mm set with 117 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel and inner flange, and a crown set with a briolette-cut diamond.

The white mother-of-pearl dial has a gold base and is paved with 121 diamonds. It features a chapter ring with green Breguet Arabic number transfers that are made of two layers of different greens, and a pear-shaped diamond set at 6 o’clock. The chapter ring features the use of snow-setting.

Through the open case back you can see the automatic Calibre 537/3 which beats at 21,600 VPH and has a power reserve of 45 hours. The movement has a platinum oscillating weight and the watch number is engraved on the case back, as well as featuring on the dial side between 11 and 12 o’clock.

The new Reine de Naples 8918 Mint Green comes on a colour-matched alligator strap with a triple-blade folding clasp set with 28 brilliant-cut diamonds and has an Australian RRP of $79,600 (CHF 45,900 / EUR 53,800).
