The Paralympic Games 2024 will start on August 28 and to mark the occasion, Stowa has launched the final in a series of three limited edition fliegers in three medal-matched case metals – gold, silver, and (now) bronze.
Of the three, the Olympus Gold Flieger is the only one with a single (Old Radium) colour and Super-LumiNova option for the numbers and markers on the black dial. The Olymp Silver and Olymp Bronze Flieger models both have the dial print in either white or Old Radium, it is up to the customer. All three models have a commemorative ‘FLIEGER OLYMP’ engraved around the open case back.

They are all powered by the manually-wound Stowa M1. Based on the Unitas 6498-1, the M1 has been converted to a central second hand. Beating at 18,800 VPH with a power reserve of 46 hours, the movement has converted to a central second hand with the new bridges are decorated with an off-centre sunray-shaped stripe cut starting from the balance.

The Flieger Olymp Gold Limited is in a limited edition of three pieces in a polished 750/000 gold 41mm sized (12.8mm thick) case with water resistance of 50m. The dial is black, and the hands are blued, with Old Radium Super-LumiNova.

Next up is the Flieger Olymp Silver, of which there are nine pieces. Its matte bead-blasted silver (925/000) case is 42mm (thickness of 13.5mm) with water resistance of 50m. The dial is black with white or Old Radium options for the numbers, markers and hands, including the Super-LumiNova (C3).

Finally, there is the Flieger Olymp Bronze, which is limited to 18 pieces. In a 41mm (12.8mm thick) bronze (CuSn8) case with water resistance of 50m, its black dial is available with either a white or Old Radium numbers, markers, and hands/ Super-LumiNova colour.
Available directly from Stowa at this link, the Gold is unsurprisingly sold out (it was EUR 7.974,79), the Silver is EUR 4.193,28 and the Bronze, EUR 3.352,94.
