NEW: Arnold & Son Ultrathin Tourbillon Skeleton 41.5mm Red Gold & Platinum

Arnold & Son have launched two new Ultrathin Tourbillon Skeleton 41.5mm models – the Red Gold (5N) and the Platinum (Pt 950), coming in limited editions of twenty-eight pieces each.

With a thickness of 8.40mm, skeletonisation makes it seem even more slim. Measuring just 3.3 mm thick, the manually-wound A&S8320 has a one-minute flying tourbillon which is at 6 o’clock on the dial side. The triangular carriage of the tourbillon is supported by a double arrow, which is a counterpoise. The arrowhead on the staff of the escape wheel serves as a seconds pointer. The It beats at 21,600 VPH and has a power reserve of 100 hours.

On both models, the timekeeping dial at 12 o’clock is white opal. They also have skeletonised rose gold PVD-treated main plates, circular satin-finished wheels, blued screws, and the bridges on both metal variants are are treated with rose-gold PVD (4N) and have Côtes de Genève stripes. The same finishing is found on the flange around the movement.

The limitation number (xx/28) is on the case back.

The Ultrathin Tourbillon Skeleton 41.5mm Red Gold comes on a blue alligator strap with black alligator lining and the Ultrathin Tourbillon Skeleton 41.5mm Platinum, on a brown alligator strap with black alligator lining. The folding clasp for the latter is platinum and fdor the Red Gold model, titanium.

The RRP for the Red Gold model is CHF 74,400 (including tax) and for the Platinum, CHF 86,200 (including tax).
